Playbook allows teachers to create and curate their digital class sessions just like they would their analog classroom. Drag and drop allows them to organize and prioritize.
Simplicity for delivering digital content to an analog classroom.
I designed Playbook based on a common classroom need - to deliver digital content in a paper world. To understand the teacher's needs, I visited several brick-and-mortar schools to see how teachers manage their classrooms. The teachers would often toggle between the controlled chaos of a paper and book classroom and limited scope of computer stations. This is a problem that can be solved.
With Playbook, teachers create Playlists to deliver to their students in real time. They search a database of content to add to those playlists, or they can simply connect to Google Docs and download their existing lessons.
Building playlists is easy. Teachers can search an extensive database of learning assets, filter and preview those results and add them to their playlist by simply dragging and dropping. If they do not find what they are looking for in the database, they can easily create new assets from text-based lessons to interactive quizzes.
Because the app works in real time, students can join a teachers Playbook Classroom session and they appear in real time. Teachers can then drag and drop their Playlist lessons onto individual students or the entire class and watch them as they work their way through the lessons.
